Thank you to the voters of Verona for electing me to the Township Council. I am deeply humbled by earning the confidence of our exceptional community. I will endeavor to represent and serve you with honor throughout the next four years.
The last three months have been some of the most rewarding of my life. The campaign allowed me to meet with individuals and groups who shared insightful feedback, concerns, and ideas for the present and future of Verona. The desire of residents to share diverse opinions while respecting one another reminds me of why I fell in love with the spirit of Verona over a decade ago.
Thank you to everyone who attended events, provided questions for forums, answered their doors, took meetings, and asked excellent questions. I encourage residents to continue to contact me to discuss ways we can continue to strengthen our great town. Our important conversations must continue. The higher voter turnout this year is an indication that Verona will benefit from sustained community engagement.
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to my supporters who inspired me with their commitment, confidence, and spirit. Thank you to the members of my campaign team for their tireless efforts in supporting my desire to run a respectful, policy-driven campaign based on energizing diverse groups of residents who wish to invest in the future of Verona.
Congratulations to Jack McEvoy and Cynthia Holland on their election. They are highly qualified candidates and leaders who ran honorable campaigns that rallied and engaged residents. I look forward to working with them and council members Roman and McGrath as we seize opportunities for our community and respond to challenges that affect Verona. Thank you to Jason Hyndman for running a positive, issues-based campaign and Michael Nochimson for sharing my desire to support business in Verona.
The future is as bright for Verona as its strong past.
